Karin Jurick

Did I mention how much I love Karin Jurick's work? I reed her blog everyday. Just recently I had the pleasure of seeing her work at the 16 patton gallery in Ashville. It was just fantastic. I wasn't able to stay and meet her the next day but I got to gab with the gallery owner about what we both love about Karin's work. My wife Jenn and little dog Mazzy were with me. Mazzy was in my backpack on my back and the owner took a photo of us while we there. Hopefully I can get ahold of it. Anyhoo, it was a joy to see Karin's work. I got such a better sense of the color and brushwork like on this one below:
