Dik Lui

I know that Dik Liu is known for his baroque lighting of junk food. I know he is like the Chardin of twinkies trying to "exalt this pedestrian food genre to the sublime". But I just like them because they're beautiful. Here are some more traditional still life's from him (at the bottom). Amazing! I love the way the planes are emphasized. Each one a different color, deftly conveying the strong sense of light. Again, simply beautiful. What else is there?
